The Doctor That 'Nose' Right - Leading New York Skin Center Perfects Non-Surgical Alternative to Rhinoplasty

If you are one of the estimated quarter of a million people that will opt for a Rhinoplasty in 2011 you may want to go for a second opinion. If you have a low bridge, your nasal tip is pinched or you simply want to try out a new nose shape without permanent results then a non-surgical Rhinoplasty could be the solution. The benefits are faster results, quicker healing time and little to no pain.

Dr. Bruce Katz, founder of the JUVA Skin & Laser Center in New York, is constantly charged with pioneering and perfecting faster and more effective anti-aging and cosmetic solutions for his patients. By using injectables such as Restylane, Juvaderm and Radiesse, depending on each patient's nasal flaws, Dr. Katz can fill divots and defects in the nose quickly. Botox can also be injected to relax a muslce that pulls the nose tip downward to create a more upturned appearance, or to soften the lines near the top of the nose (bunny lines on nose). Injectables can also help shape or improve a shallow bridge.

"With patients continuing to demand minimally invasive procedures with dramatic results the JUVA Skin and Laser Center is constantly offering faster, easier and less painful solutions to some of the most common cosmetic body and skin ailments," said Dr. Katz. "A non surgical nose job is a perfect example of how we took a popular procedure that had a great amount of pain and a long recovery time and made it more accessible for patients. With this procedure you can be back at work later in the day with results you have to see to believe."

And for those skeptics that fear injectables will leave their nose looking larger, Dr. Katz assures that this "instant nose job" simply evens out the look of the nose leaving it with a smooth line appearance.

Unlike a typical Rhinoplasty, this procedure is not permanent and requires "touch-ups" the same way you would when using filler on any other part of the face.

Celebrity Medical Experts Agree: Fillers, Botox & Laser Treatments Gave Gwyneth Paltrow Her Puffy New Face!

Gwyneth's gotten a round of fillers, Botox and a final touch with a laser to make her look more youthful!

Have you seen this recent photo of Gwynth Paltrow's face?!?! The super puffy complexion and redness alarmed me so much taht I had to call in the experts. They all agree: the actress has had some work done! Fillers, laser, and injectables all evidently played a role in the star's new look. Here's what the experts had to say:

Dr. Bruce Katz, board-certified dermatologist and Director of the Juva Skin and Laser Center, thinks injectables are at play in Paltrow's new look. "She may have had some filler under the eyes and possibly the cheeks. She looks a little swollen there. Her face looks a lot rounder."

He goes on to explain, "If you look closely, her face is all red. It's very likely she had some laser treatments (Fractional CO2 laser.) "Usually, you use that to tighten the skin or the pores. You're red after laser treatments. If you look at her forehead, her cheeks and the size of her face....all pretty red. Her eyes are also narrower which indicates that she probably has swelling from the laser treatment."

Dr. Steven Dayan, board-certified Facial Plastic Surgeon (MD, FACS) agrees with Dr. Katz. "Her forehead has an appearance consistent with someone who has been treated with Botox," he confirms. He also has a slightly different opinion. "Her face appears mostly swollen around the eyes, not necessarily the cheeks or smile lines. If so, the swollen eyes could be secondary to eyelid surgery (belpharoplasty). She seems to have a more upper eyelid exposed on both eyelids and even possibly an upper eyelid scar on the upper outer corner of her right eye." What else might have had done?

No worries, Gwyneth fans: her face will be back to normal in no time at all. "It usually takes 4 - 7 days for the redness to go away," Dr. Katz explains.
