Look Younger Instantly: The Blood Wrinkle Filler

Called, 'the vampire face-lift,' this new warrior on the anti-aging front involves injecting your own blood into lines and wrinkles. It may sound scary, but derms say, it works. Find out the lowdown from Bruce Katz, M.D. director of the JUVA Skin & Laser Center in New York City.
Let's face it, the plumper the skin is, the less likely you are to notice fine lines and wrinkles - skin's biggest nemesis.  Well, if you're looking for a solution to turn back the clock without much invasion, Selphyl is the newest, hottest treatment on the market.
"Selphyl involves drawing blood from the arm and spinning it in a centrifuge to extract the platelets," says Dr. Katz. "The platelets are then injected into your face in wrinkle-prone areas." You can use it anywhere you have lines and wrinkles - under your eyes, the neck, cheeks, etc. "It's safer than other injectables because you're less likely to have a reaction to your own blood, "says Dr. Katz.
The treatment fills in lines, rejuvenates the skin, improves texture and stimulates new collagen production. The results can last over a year, with treatments averaging $900 - $1500.
